what does that mean!!

A guy just told me (if u dont want to hurt the one u love, sometimes lying it is OK). I was so mad hearing him telling me this. I dont know why some people think that way! i just think that if ur lying to the one u love that means ur hiding something. If u really care about that person, u wouldnt lie thats all or u wouldnt do anything behind her/his back.
